Organic Scottish Oats - Ancient

This ancient grain came to North America by Scottish and Dutch immigrants in the late 1600's. Packed with nutrients, oats are particularly high in manganese, as well as thiamine, copper and zinc among others. The antioxidants found in oats are anti-inflammatory and anti-itching, making them valued in skin care products. Also high in soluble fibre, they can help reduce cholesterol, balance blood sugar and feed beneficial bacteria in the gut. They are naturally gluten free, however our facility does process gluten.

Scottish Oats are stoneground oat flakes. They are lighter and flaked smaller than rolled oats, creating creamy hot cereal and delicate granola or oat cookies.
